You just wouldn't believe the things some people are willing to call a "skateboard" these days. For instance, have a look at this photo of some gravity racers at Beachy Head Brittain's highest sea cliff in Eastbourne this week for the UK leg of the World Downhill Skateboarding Championships this weekend.
Now, I've got nothing against downhill skateboarding, or gravity racing in general, and whatever it is those dudes are riding looks plenty gnarly, but can we all agree to not dare call those inline contraptions "skateboards"?
Check out the Eastbourne Speed Days and Go Fast! Speed Days sites for more info on this weekend's gravity racing events. In addition to those crazy inline death trap doohickeys, there will also be street luge and good old-fashioned hauling-ass-on-an-actual-skateboard events.
