You wouldn't know it from the www.allisports.com website or from watching the coverage on NBC Sports, but there were women's contests in Boston this weekend at the Dew Tour Skate Open ISF Skateboarding World Championships! Am I the only person in skate media who loves women's skateboarding?

Vanessa Torres took down the Park contest Finals, ahead of Lacey Baker and Alexis Sablone.  Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins, who placed 6th in the Park contest to show her versatility (she's also a great bowl skater), won the vert contest, ahead of Gaby Ponce and Karen Jonz.
