Okay, I promise to write about something else tomorrow but I'm still obsessed with my "Brazilians Sweep LG" riff. Goddamn Greg Lutzka messed my whole thing up, but I was close: Rodolfo Ramos won, Carlos de Andrade took 2nd. The tall gringo in the fedora took 3rd. Danilo do Rosario might have been able to beat him if he hadn't hung up and slammed harder than any slam I can recall in any recent street contest, but ended up in 10th in the end. Damn. Next year I want to see them win EVERYTHING. In the meantime, I'm going to try to learn to speak some Portuguese so my interviews with guys like Danilo will be less awkward next year when they start beating Sheckler.

Speaking of Sheckler... As of yesterday, the post I did right before Life of Ryan came out is now officially the most popular blog post I've written – far more popular than BOOBIES!, curiously enough -- in my time as Banquet's Skate Correspondent, a strange fact that speaks volumes, VOLUMES, about the state of the Internet, the state of skateboarding circa 2007, and the prevalence of young ladies who are apparently spending some time Googling search terms like "Ryan Sheckler NUDE." I've been curiously watching ther steady climb of these numbers, and thought I'd report the results to you now.
