"Some of you need to turn in your wallets, since you obviously can't be entrusted with money." – House of Neil, eBay Watch July 2008, @ SkateAndAnnoy.com
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'm hooked on the SnA eBay Watch, even though I can't afford to be a skateboard collector myself. House of Neil keeps tabs on the market for old skateboards and doesn't keep his opinions to himself about it either, and in addition to nerding on out on looking at all the old decks and skate stuff, he cracks me up every time.
This month: A Powell-Peralta Britelite autographed by Stacy Peralta went for $3,249, there are a couple of sweet old clay wheel Duke Kahanamoku boards (one went for $1,200), a beautiful Sims Taperkick ($639), Rodney Mullen's 1982 robot mutt deck ($1,228), and more, including a Max Heardroom Coca-Cola deck somebody scored for just $51. Also, a couple of real crappers that inspired the quote above, like a plastic prop from The Lords of Dogtown ($510) and a cruddy merch table deck from the band Sublime ($515).
