I'll try to put up some links and photos tomorrow because I'm rushing off to the after party but, quickly: Pierre-Luc Gagnon won the PlayStation Pro and the 2008 AST Dew Tour tonight in Orlando. Sick, sick runs, too. Dew Tour comps are best-of-three runs, but PLG would have won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the three scores he put up: Even his worst-of-three runs was better than anything anybody else came up with. Two 720s in one run? Switch heelflip? Vert skating is crazy these days.
PlayStation Pro Skate Vert Results:
1. Pierre-Luc Gagnon, 96.00
2. Andy Macdonald, 87.00
3. Danny Mayer, 86.00
4. Sandro Dias, 85.25
5. Adam Taylor, 81.00
6. Bob Burnquist, 80.75
7. Anthony Furlong, 79.50
8. Buster Halterman, 75.25
9. Jean Postec, 71.75
10. Bucky Lasek, 45.75, and boy was he pissed: I saw him walking around afterwards with "LOSER" Sharpie'd on his forehead.
