It just wouldn't be me if I didn't note that Julie Kindstrand won the Ladies' bowl comp at GvR. I've mentioned I love women's skateboarding, right?

The 2008 AST Dew Tour wraps up at the PlayStation Pro in Orlando, October 16-19. Ryan Sheckler, Chaz Ortiz, and P-Rod are the current Skate Park leaders, and Free Flow Tour champ Timmy Knuth will get a big break as part of his FFT prize. The old-timers – Bucky Lasek, Bob Burnquist, and Andy Macdonald – are running the show in Skate Vert this year, but young dudes like Free Flow Tour champ Paul Luc Ronchetti and guys like Adam Taylor, Josh Stafford, and Alex Perelson will fight for a piece of it.
Marginally-related fun BNQT fact: According to compete.com analytics, 13.36% of search traffic (Google refers, etc.) to BNQT.com comes from the search term "Ryan Shecker Nude." To all you pervy Sheckler fans who searched their way to this story just now looking for something more scandalous... Welcome.
