Ryan Sheckler isn't skating at the LG Action Sports Championships this weekend in Dallas. Neither is Shaun White. So here's what I'd like to see go down, and it's not altogether implausible:

I want to see a Brazilian sweep of the entire LG event. If there's a sportsbook somewhere doing action sports, here's my all-Brazilian betting line for the skatepark contest:

1. Rodolfo Ramos
2. Rodil de Araujo, Jr.
3. Fabrizio Santos

On the vert ramp, I'd like to see a return of Sandro Dias. He's my favorite vert skater and blew up all over the place last year – at X Games, on the Dew Tour, at LG, in the World Cup Skateboarding rankings – but has been off in 2007. I saw him last month in Orlando, looking like he was ready to stage a comeback. Here's my all-Brazilian betting line for the vert contest (less likely than a park sweep, but what the hell):

2. Bob Burnquist 
3. Rodrigo Menenzes
